I have the same issue diverter valve breaks every 12 months. They originally designed the diverter with no filter, then they added a mesh filter to the new ones but it still breaks, obviously they have a serious problem with the quality.
Hey there,
First time doing oak veneer, I noticed a dark line after sticking it with the evo impact glue.
For this piece it's too late to fix but in future how would you fix this, would you just use natural shade wood filler?
Cheers.
Hey, looking for some advice on possible cause of a sewage smell and some identification needed.
Ive been having a sewage smell when my water runs, the smell is at its strongest the longer the water runs for example when I had the washing machine on, I've lifted the floor in my kitchen and...
I did think of that but abit worried about how the cut will look, not so worried about the verticals cuts but the horizontals might look abit rough, I'll give it ago first see how it looks. I thought with the trim it gives me abit of wiggle room for error.
I've recently had a leak and had to disemble all the decorating work I've done, taking off all the skirtings board and laminate up. Unfortunately the new installation and fix for my leaking mains has to be under the floor where it runs from 25mm mdpe ( looks like a speedfit) to 15mm copper pipe...
hey,
I was looking at getting one of these, you need a Double check valve / isolation valve inside. Grade 3 water cant mix with Grade 1 water.

Honestly I think this is a massive issue in the uk, no one is checking and just assuming these people are doing the correct jobs. I would like more self certification, This takes pressure off councils to check work and planning but it protects the customer in the long run as there are paper...
I've been trying to use the accredited websites like Watersafe for example, but even then there usually random phone numbers, old outdated or the website links don't work etc.
I feel like I'm repairing the work of the last trades person with a new trades person to find a decent one lol. NVM...
For permeable driveways you need to use the correct subbase, which is what I was after.
You can only have 5m squared of no permeable driveway without a soakaway. A soakaway needs to be 5m from the foundations, my driveway was 5m so that was not possible.
It's all in the suds regulations...
Cheers for that, i think it depends on the level of knowledge of that person recommending the trade because they may have been conned aswell, people expect trades people to do it all correct but in my experience noone gives a ****.
Driveways are the worst lol, trying to explain to some what...
I'm finding it incredibly hard to find decent trades people. I read the regs I know what needs to be done they tell me they will do it all to regs. I make sure they provide the correct certificates on work. But most of the time they get here do the work and let me down, usually it's subpar It...
Morning, this is fixed now it needed a new diverter I think. Was a 10 min job under warranty.
The part has a small plastic actuator that goes up and down. It looks like that was misbehaving when firing up. That's 2 parts in 2 years it's not boding well for the viessman 2021 30kw.
