I suspect I have a small leak in the heating system. After topping up on Sunday afternoon 10th, I observed this tiny drop in pressure 2.5 days later 13/12. A leak specialist mentioned this product - CT1 Miracle Seal. He says it fixes small leaks permanently and it doesn’t clog the system. Thoughts?
Thanks.. but A goes on only when I set the temperature above the current temperature (on a timer or I do it immediately. So it comes on when it’s calling for the boiler to turn on….
What can I do in these circumstances. It it just didn’t work it would have been easy to detect, I guess…
When I set it to be on via phone, light A comes on (telling it to be on), but light B won’t come on, so the boiler doesn’t start. I either need to set A on and off several times via phone, or turn it off and on again via switch (C).
When I set the water to be on, it works instead, and green...
I had 2 Drayton Wiser kits installed, one on a combi boiler in the annex and one on the other boiler with water tank. I had to use 2 accounts as it wouldn’t let me add another hub when already connected with the first hub in the account.
How do I access both of them in the same app on the same...
I am interested in a system where the boiler can be modulated, not just turned on and off. Is it true that if I install a Worcester Bosch EasyControl Adaptork I can then modulate the boiler via any smart thermostat? Or do I still need a bosh thermostat...
I have a Worcester Bosch Greenstar Ri (no opentherm) connected to a Honeywell ST9400S. It the has an old style wheel to set the temperature, on my wall in the hall.
This honeywell is a bit old style and doesn't allow me to have different timer e.g. at the weekend, or control it via phone app...
Thanks.
It’s a new place I moved into. Boiler never been serviced in like 10 years and I assume the expansion vessel.
the Boiler was recently serviced and fixed. Since then we noticed the expansion vessel pressure would drop within 2 days of topping up. Today a plumber came over and saw one...
Hi,
We have a leak in the expansion vessel, which is on the first floor, above the hot water cylinder.
As we wait for a plumber, can we keep the heating on?
I don’t see a thermostat on my cylinder.. I assume it’s only inside and cannot be set to a temperature (temp only set on the boiler) and that’s why I don’t see it ?
Thanks to everyone, you are all so helpful. I keep thinking that back in the flat with the simple boiler (no cylinder) it was all so easy… no need to plan anything. When the hot water was needed, the boiler would go on and heat it up..
