We've an old concrete yard floor we'd like to improve. It currently has cracks (happy to fill) and what looks like the remains of an old surface.
What options do I have to improve it? It's only the yard so not going full bore like starting from scratch but would be nice if it was less...

Just not sure whether to insulate from the inside or outside due to reading that it should be done from the outside with flat roofs due to condensation.

By properly I mean to do a decent job that will give a warm room in winter and not lead to issues with damp etc down the line.
