Hi

We've an old concrete yard floor we'd like to improve. It currently has cracks (happy to fill) and what looks like the remains of an old surface.

What options do I have to improve it? It's only the yard so not going full bore like starting from scratch but would be nice if it was less grim.

I've had a look on google etc so know I can paint it but also open to more suggestions.

Cheers!

Granolithic mortar?

or you could play with 3:1 cement and sharp sand and add to self level.

or even 5mm grit and self level compound.

I would suggest pressure washing concrete first, then use something like PVA wash to help it stick.

of course resin bonded or bound kits is an option if the area isn’t too bad - that would look smart.

I think paint might be very slippery when wet
