8) Thanks for your comments so far - I have looked for rainwater dripping from guttering and roof above during rain but have been unable to see any. I will check the angle of the porch roof and continue observing during rainfall. I agree there is a lot of water flowing onto a small roof.

For some reason the conditioner is not being washed from the dispenser into the washing machine.The soap powder goes in ok.The machine is a Hotpoint Aquarius.Should this be an easy problem to fix? Thanks in advance.

My Hotpoint Aquarius (5 years old)washing machine has started leaking from both the door and the soap dispenser.Also the water no longer empties unless it is spun several times.Could this be the pump?
