Thanks does this mean that disconnecting the battery in the panel will not make the alarm totally disconnected and will not keep going off, or will the alarm go off until the battery is dead in the alarm box ?

Hi sorry, i am aware of this but need to look further into this in the dist board, because the panel was going off when i used the shower circuit i thought this could be a possibilty, i will investigate this and if neccessary take it off this circuit and out onto another circuit, thanks for all...

HI Matty, thanks again for the reply, you are prob right bath best option but i am too lazy and dont fancy get up at 5 !!! I will change the battery over for a new one on Saturday, to avoid it going off again in the morning if i was to disconnest the battery in now will this isolate the alarm...

Hi, the battery is a Yuasa NPI 1.2-12 12v 1.2Ah, Possibly date 30/04/199?, there is also a serial number on the top of the battery which is 9032842, again this went off this morning when I pulled the shower cord on for the shower, do you think by changing the battery for a new one this will stop...

Thanks for the reply, i think i am right in saying that the alarm would be via a spur, do you think this is on the same circuit as the shower MCB?? Or should i change the fuse in the spur, re the battery in the panel not sure when last changed

Help !!!! Everytime i pull the shower cord either on or off for my electric shower for some reason it makes my house alarm go off, the only thing i can think off is a possible earth fault, can anybody advise ???
