Thanks BDL for your reply. Could you tell me if the meter governor can be repaired or am I better getting it replaced and if so roughly how much will this set me back.

I have a Stelrad ideal w wall mounted boiler serviced annually that's driving me nuts. This problem has been ongoing since we moved into this house 3 years ago. When the boiler goes to fire up first thing in the morning by the programmer I can hear the pump kicking in then a few clicking...

I have a Stelrad Ideal W boiler which has now and again failed to fire up. If I switch the power off and then back on it fires up no probs. then it might work for weeks on end then same thing happens again. As the winter isn't far away I would be glad of some feedback to resolve this niggly prob
