Boiler sometimes not firing up.

I have a Stelrad Ideal W boiler which has now and again failed to fire up.
If I switch the power off and then back on it fires up no probs. then it might work for weeks on end then same thing happens again. As the winter isn't far away I would be glad of some feedback to resolve this niggly prob
