Pva the bonding prior to skimming then used watered down paint then 2 coats of matt emulsion that when it started coming away wil it b better to take the blistering off pva it and patch it with one coat plaster or take the whole kit an kaboodle down and start again with new boarding

it was a little damp in patches not very much though I pva it first gave it 3 coats over 3 hours . I have never heard of a mist coat before what is that

plastered over comb effect artex ceiling with thistle bonding then pva and skim coat the next day when I painted it small bubbles appears and the bonding and skim coat separated in 4 or 5 places the rest of it is fine any advice on how to remedy this please cheers

Hi stripped. door frames. To reveal dark brown stuff like stain varnish removed that and sanded down smooth undercoat and glossed it fine when I returned the next day orange had come through really badly I glossed it again and within 20 minutes it was showing through again as bad I am using...

trying to drill into pre fab concrete panel wall . concrete full of pebbles making it impossible to drill . anyone got any ideas how to drill successfully any special drill bits i have to use etc any help much appreciated

Hi everyone, bought a necht ceramic hob, sparky installing it says theres no information for live and neutral, just number 4 and number 5 on the terminals, looked in installation manual and it says connect to live and neutral no mention of what 4 and 5 is. been trying the helpline for hours now...

i am stripping wallpaper from bedroom walls and ceiling. ceiling is crumbling in area about a foot square and the rest feels spongy to the touch .under the plaster is wooden lats . is it a take down and re board job or is there anything i can do with it. any advice would be gratefully appreciated

i want to fit a sure stop to the main stop tap . do i have to turn the water off at the mains outside, and any tips on the best way to fit it would be gratefully accepted thanks
