Actually I came to the forum for fairly urgent advice, not for a 'laugh' and not to be judged. But looking at most of your comments it seems to be a favourite of yours to judge people and tell people they shouldn't be doing this or that rather than offer the advice and help they've asked for...

Hello all. I completed a re-wire a few weeks back in an empty house but was unable to carry out the live testing as the supply was disconnected. So I left my tails hanging out of the fuseboard waiting for some juice. The service head was in the basement and the meter (fed by a piro originally)...

Hello all. Any one installed 'brick lights' before? I am having a brick wall built tommorow and the missus has decided at the last minute that she wants brick lights incorporated into the wall. I have a few spare ways on RCD side at fuseboard so it will be on its own circuit. I need to run...

I need to make a join in a 10mm t&e shower cable. it's in a cupboard & is accessible. my question is, will the crimps be able to handle the current drawn by the shower? i've only ever used them on a 2.5 ring. cheers for any advice
