    How to relay loose slabs

Some of my paving slabs are so loose I've been able to pull them by hand really easily. There's a few more over to the left that will come up easily. Thankfully, those on the right are stuck down solidly. To relay these, I was thinking of using a chisel bit on my SDS to get all the mortar off...

    External drain off

I'm fitting an external drain off for my central heating system. I've drilled through the wall and soldered a drain cock to a length of pipe. I'm wondering how much pipework (if any) I should leave outside. I'm concerned about being able to replace the drain cock from outside should there be any...

Thanks, I had intended on using copper for that reason. Thankfully there's no sign of any rodent activity, but I'll stick to copper nonetheless.

Thanks, I hadn't considered that I might just be looking at the branches at this point. I need to investigate some more.

Upgrading CH from 15mm to 22mm

I'm soon to get started on a job insulating my ground floor. I've pulled a couple of floorboards up and realised the flow and return pipes are 15mm. For the time being, I only plan to insulate one living room and hallway. Once that job's complete, I'll sort out the finished floor, which I don't...
