Is it normal for a boiler not to have a pressure gauge and filling loop? I wanted to top it up to see If that helps with the noise but I don't see any way of doing it. Any ideas?

Quick update. I have managed to free it up using plenty of lube, a few sharp smacks with a hammer and undoing the gland nut (y) I will now be fitting a lever shut off valve. Thanks for all the replies.
