Power to separate Garage in block?

Evening all.

I am looking at options and potential costs to run some power to the Garage that is roughly 40m away from the house in a block - see pic.





I am after a couple of sockets and a light, nothing major in order to do some diy stuff, currently using a extension lead from the house but would like to have a permanent option as i get fed up faffing about with the extension!

Thanks for that, no idea if circa 69dB is quiet enough though, don't want angry neighbours knocking on my door!

I should think that would require all sorts of weird stuff, is the road owed by the local council? Can't you use battery operated drills etc?

Road is local council owned i think, not 100% on that though, no traffic really uses it to be honest as most the Garages are used for storage.

I do use battery tools but got a few bits that are not ie compressor etc

Forgot to mention the first Garage on the opposite side has power and they live two doors from me! they have just moved out so I can't ask them what they did

Good question to which I have no answer sadly.

Not sure on the Genny route, If only they did a all weather heavy duty extension lead I could route to the Garage somehow.

If you can get permission to run a cable under the road, and for that cable to then run through the other garages (or across the back of then) - then we can get somewhere.

There are trenchless cable mole services available for getting cable underground.

What happens if they hit a pipe or something, I really couldn't tell you...

How else are you going to cover your backside if something goes wrong?
