This should be fine, it wont be the most reliable of jobs but it will do what you need, along with this it should last a good amount of time.

I would agree with John D, check to ensure that your drill is on the 'hammer' setting or you will not be able to complete the job.

Id agree with Deluks, the likeliness of finding somewhere in this area selling part roles is slim. This is due to times changing and it not being an ever present like it used to be. Buy a full role if you dont know anyone who will help you out.

Heating the tiles is an good idea, you just need to be careful that you dont over heat them.

I always have approached this sort of job just like any other, however you may want to think about adding an extra layer of paint on just to give the best possible finish!

Is it an uninsulated room?
