    Decking / Path ideas

Looking for some advice / recommendations for garden layout. I have a garden office at the end of the garden and planning to add a decking platform in front of it, I also want a decking area for table and chairs and a path that connects the house, office and the decking area. I'm wondering...

    Condensation or guttering issue?

I've not had an issue with this room in the past. The property will be vacant soon so will investigate it properly. I just want to resolve the issue properly, if it is more than condensation. I'll investigate the loft, that would clarify things.

    Condensation or guttering issue?

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's a two story 3 bedroom house and tenanted at the moment. So not too sure about drying clothes in the room etc. The room in question is a bedroom. Interestingly enough the other half of this side of the house is the bathroom and there is absolutely no issue...

    Condensation or guttering issue?

I have not been able to investigate this closely and only have access to pictures at this point. I'm wondering if anyone can comment on possible cause? Could this just be condensation or does it seem more like a guttering issue. I had a roofer look at it a while ago and he said there are no...

    Cutting pebble concrete

I need to cut this concrete slab about 2-3 inches back from the house. Would a circular saw with diamond blade do the job or should I invest in an angle grinder?

    Damp patch

So I've cleared most of the plant and it looks like the roots of the plant were above DPC level and the worst signs of damp are where the roots are and not the RWP. So could removing the plant fully resolve the issue for the future? And do you see any point in digging by the RWP to look for...

    Damp patch

Thanks for the replies. Here are some more details. 1. The DPC is just above the bottom course of bricks that can be seen. 2. Yeah getting rid of it all. 3. The RWP goes into ground. As far as I know the water goes to mains drainage. 4. There just the door next to it. Main issue seems to be...

    Damp patch

I have noticed this damp patch on the inside of a wall. I can see some green / water marks on the outside and there is a Down pipe located there too. Would it be a case of a damaged gully and I would need to dig to investigate?

    Air Vs airless sprayer

I need to paint a couple of uPVC doors and a window. I have bought an air based sprayer. I am planning on using zinsser allcoat paint, however it mentions using airless sprayer and no mention of air based sprayer. Just wondering if air based sprayer will work? And is there much difference...
