    Suspended decking on lawn

Would these work or be better than concreted in wood post to support the deck base? https://www.toolstation.com/concrete-in-sleeper-base-anchor-bracket/p75498

    Suspended decking on lawn

Hi, I am planning on installing suspended decking on part of the lawn area in my garden. I will be concreting in post and secure the frame to those. I'm wondering if I can get away with covering lawn below the decking with weed membrane and Sharpe sand, instead of removing the lawn?

    Spiders on decking

I wouldn't have thought anything about it, if it was just one spider. I'm talking about at least 10 together. When I step onto the deck, they quickly hide and then they back straightaway.

    Spiders on decking

I recently installed a small decking platform in front of my garden office. I had a plan to install a decking area in the garden soon, but I have noticed a fair few spiders on the platform during sunny day. I'm concerned that if the decking area ended up with similar spiders, then kids...

    Stone patio on lawn

I'm planning on laying a stone (Cotswold / pea gravel / slate chippings) patio area. Do I need to remove the lawn before laying the weed membrane or can I install the weed membrane on top of the grass and then stones over that?

Is this rising damp or condensation?

The is a downstairs cellar, the wall at the back is an external wall and on the right is internal wall. I know the right hand side has a water mark implying it's rising damp. But this is a internal wall. The other side of the wall is another cellar. The flooring on the other side is old...

    Condensation or guttering issue?

I've not had an issue with this room in the past. The property will be vacant soon so will investigate it properly. I just want to resolve the issue properly, if it is more than condensation. I'll investigate the loft, that would clarify things.

    Condensation or guttering issue?

Thanks everyone for the replies. It's a two story 3 bedroom house and tenanted at the moment. So not too sure about drying clothes in the room etc. The room in question is a bedroom. Interestingly enough the other half of this side of the house is the bathroom and there is absolutely no issue...

    Condensation or guttering issue?

I have not been able to investigate this closely and only have access to pictures at this point. I'm wondering if anyone can comment on possible cause? Could this just be condensation or does it seem more like a guttering issue. I had a roofer look at it a while ago and he said there are no...

    Cutting pebble concrete

I already have a circular saw, wouldn't it work with a diamond blade?

    Cutting pebble concrete

I need to cut this concrete slab about 2-3 inches back from the house. Would a circular saw with diamond blade do the job or should I invest in an angle grinder?

    Damp patch

The green bricks are only bottom 8-10 courses. That's a flexible conduit for a cable.
