That's a good point, when I put the compost and new top soil I found alot of rubble so perhaps that could be the issue

Hedge not growing in some sections

Using the forum on phone is not ideal, autocorrect etc make it hell and cause confusion. Apparently the emojis don't show up on the forum which adds to the confusion. To summarise, the hedge is trimmed regularly, it was last trimmed at the end of May 2023. I didn't plant the hedge, the house...

    Electric weed sweeper keeps stalling..

Hi folks, I have an electric weed sweeper (looks like a strimmer but has a wire wheel at one end) which worked great when new.. recently I have noticed that it starts to stall under load.. Is it the brushes that are knackered or is it on its way out? Please advise

    Slow Shower Drain

No drain smell so far.. as long as you don't go overboard (which I've seen some threads where folk have cut deep slots on the cup (part B) then you are OK..

    Slow Shower Drain

Thanks Madrab... so I drilled 4 holes on Part A and also two 20mm holes on part B. Ran the shower and hey presto.. all sorted. I was confident it was the airlock issue, just wasn't sure where to drill the holes

    Slow Shower Drain

Hi folks, I have a McAlpine Fast-flowing shower drain which is not fast flowing as the product claims. The plumbing is correct and no issues or blockages. When I lift the Part A (which breaks the water seal) the shower flows as it should so I'm suspecting it's to do with airlock. I have...
