I just fitted a torbeck compact last night and had the same problem you did, my problem was that I had left out the water pressure regulator out, after fitting this it was fine and shut off properly, you should find it comes with two; one for low pressure and one for high pressure systems.

I've just finished mine using the Dulux weathershield, I did it with a 4" brush, took ages and was knackering but it looks good!

I think that's a bit harsh, some people like him deserve the death penalty.

I find it quite irritating when people stick to the middle lane, especially when you find someone doing 60-65mph and the inside lane is totally free. I do agree with what 'Diyisfun' says that some people think is true.

I think it is seeping in at the joins of the wall and floor. I'm end terrace and theres a fairly high water table in the area, on a slight slope. No signs of any drains overflowing. Thanks.

Has anyone had any experience of using damp proof paint? The problem I get is water seeping into the cellar after heavy rain. I've seen Johnstones Damp-Proof Paint on the S'fix website and wondered if anyone had used it or something similar and what the results were...

That's ok if you've got somewhere to park off road, I've live in a street of terraced houses and there are no garages or offroad parking, front gardens are too small to turn into driveways. It is though annoying when people do have drives and don't park on them!

So where are people watching the England game tomorrow? Pub? Home? Or is anyone lucky enough to have got tickets?!

Pensdown Why would you need to fuse it at 7 amps? I have never heard of that before and all our 4 or 6 gangs at work are 13amp!
