    Tap attached to neighbours extension

Just remembered that when the neighbours originally applied for loft conversion they also were going to have the ground floor extension extended further. I just viewed the plans and clearly shows in their plans that existing extension is on the boundary line. Does this mean it is a party wall...

    Tap attached to neighbours extension

I think back up the where the original house started. To be fair when I tried to look down there there’s a lot of rubbish that their builders were working thought good place to put their rubbish so it hard to see.

    Tap attached to neighbours extension

Just had a chat with my wife and her memory is a lot better than mine and she remembers builder of our extension saying we can’t build it straight as the neighbour was over the boundary line. We were young and just accepted this. Looking at extension now probably disputable however the top of...

    Tap attached to neighbours extension

Thanks all for replies. I appreciate it. I’m going to remove tap in my own time just so removed. I’m actually going to be moving in a couple of years (nothing to do with neighbours) just annoying.

Yes, was built before we moved in. Must have been a long time ago. Never questioned before as just presumed that as there before we moved in.

It is a flat roof. I have actually wondered if the their extension is over bondary because over the line of fence and actually trying to look on deeds but don’t seem exact. So if I remove tap and leave some of piping. Isolate tap from inside so no long functioning that would be ok?

Going to isolate inside, but not too sure about how to get rid of pipes outside.

The threat that have received via email. Is that if if not removed in 7 days he will come onto my property and remove and that I will have to pay to make good.

    Tap attached to neighbours extension

It’s my water supply but clipped onto to neighbours side of house. This was done 18 years ago when extension on my side was built. They are just saying nothing can be attached there so remove. Gap between house is about 10 cm guess. I would happily just remove tap but the rest is so annoying to do.

No idea how I can take off the clips on his wall without knocking extension down. I would isolate and remove tap. However he will say to remove clips pipe from his wall even if I remove tap.

There’s clips on the wall which the pipe is on. He’s also asked me to make good on any damage done to his wall. But seeing as I can’t get down the gap no idea how can do that.

    Tap attached to neighbours extension

I think my main problem is him saying get it done in 7 days. I can’t actually get done in this time frame. My sister is a plumber and explained what would need to be done. My issue is neighbour coming onto my property and removing tap.

Yeah ongoing dispute result of when they had loft conversion done. Loads of things went wrong flooded our kitchen, blow electrics came through into our side of house. The problem was I complained and that upset them. They never apologised and just not good. They had security camera looking into...
