Afternoon all Just installed my tado system and all seems good. However I need to bridge the old mechanical thermostat and decommission it but the tado app doesn't recognise my thermostat so can't provide me with instructions. Is any one able to shed any light on what I need to do here?

Morning all I need to rotate this stop tap so that the handle is facing upwards. This is to allow space for an insinkerator. Ill obviously isolate the water before I do anything, but can I just loosen the bolts on either side of the stopcock, and then rotate it around and then retighten?

Ok I think I got that- what I'll do is run a length of 3 core from the socket and leave the remaining length in the roof. When I get my electrician in, he can rewire the switch with the 3 core easily and wire up my Downlights, and do what he needs to do with the ceiling rose. Thanks for your help

Yeah, so basically I was thinking that one switch would turn all the downlights on for normal lighting, and the 2nd switch would turn on some hidden recessed uplights in the soffit. So, the wire I've got in there is the standard grey one that they've used reels of when rewiring the place. Will...
