Try and make it clearer. The main panel was not calling the thermostat and was not working. So I swopped the main panel an lp112 and the mechanical timer direct swop. Now the main heating control is calling the thermostat and heat is working upstairs but nothing downstairs.

I have swopped a thermostat today as the room stat was not sending power to it. So changed both items. Now when i put heat on the radiators are red hot upstairs but nothing down stairs. There is power at the stat and the pump but will not heat down stairs. Could this be a wiring fault or a...

no nothing. went to bed all was working fine then this happened. Any ideas??? or were should I start replacing things??

apologies I meant switch. Yes it has been working fine. The switch is a 2 way and the light can be turned on from either upstairs or downstairs. Thanks

Hi, whenever I use my landing socket for my upstairs light the main RCD trips out. The 6a MCB does not trip. IF I turn this light off I can use the lighting. Just wondered what could suddenly be the fault? The switch, light, MCB or RCD or the wiring which is very old. Thanks
