Thanks for the info.
I just re read my first post and I should have said that I have tested the heater element resistance and it reads ok (not the thermostat as I posted, I am not sure why I wrote that it must have been a stressful day).
I was looking for the thermostat but I still can't...
sorry I just rechecked and you are correct I have miss typed the sticker.

Hi I have a IKEA LAGAN Dishwasher that is not heating the water but thermostat tests ok with my multimeter.
I have search hi and low on the internet to try and find some schematics to see what to test next but haven't found anything.
Has anyone had the same problem with this machine...
that's what i was thinking, I am guessing it must have been removed in the 80s as that was apparently when the house was rewired and a down stairs toilet was put in.
We have removed the toilet and a stud wall so we have one big room for the kitchen I will post a pic where the stud was.
After pulling down plaster and lath from the kitchen ceiling, I noticed that a 7x3 inch joist isn't attached to the supporting wall at one end. Pulling down more plaster revealed a chimney hole that had been blocked off and hidden by plasterboard and also two other 7x2 joists that are connected...
I was wondering if anyone has done this one before and if you may have any advice that could help me out. We are in a 3 bedroom semi and want to split the large front bedroom into two rooms so we can have a shower, WC and sink upstairs.
At the moment we have a WC downstairs on the back right...
