This model is likely to have all it's high voltage components on a complete pcb called the inverter module and if fails will run for 3 secs then stop. The other likely cause could be the magnetron as both will cut out after 3 secs. Will prob be expensive to repair and not worth it. Don't make...
The flood system will definately not cut the power to the module if activated. It's also very unlikely to have a intermittant fault on this appliance especially with the module. It's more likely to be the socket. Did the plug stick to the back of the machine when pulled out? If it happens again...
Been looking at an Indesit Dishwasher thats not heating. The heater and toc are ok. Anyone know of any common probs or is it likely to be the module/ntc?
Ta.
It sounds like the pressure chamber may be blocked which could explain both faults. Are you getting any fault codes ie. lights flashing? and do you have the ENR No? Very much doubt it's a control board fault! When you say it goes into the cycle with no water does the drum turn when empty? Also...
Thats a bit strange, it is a door lock fault but if you've changed it the only other cause will be the module unfortunately. This is not a common fault.
Where the water comes in through the pressure chamber, there is a hose that goes off around the front and into the sump. This is probably blocked. remove it and clean. It's only push fit.
Remove the filters and you will find a small cover in the sump with a single torx t20 screw securing it. Remove the cover and you'll find the drain pump impeller, this will probably be jammed with something ie. small piece of glass. Remove obstruction and test it. Should be ok.
Check to make sure the spray arms holes are clear of pips, debris etc. If they are clear the mech on the heater that rotates to alternate between top and bottom spray arms may be at fault and stuck in the position for the top arm. This prob could also be the module not powering this mech up. Not...
