confirmation of neutral to light switch (pic attached)

Still not sure what your referring to. IF you have a neutral, then yes, lots of smart switch options available. If no neutral, very limited in the UK, usually relying on some kind of relay installed behind switch or light, or using a smart dimmer switch which is not always autopsies for the...

confirmation of neutral to light switch (pic attached)

He was onsite for a few months (was also a carpenter, so all in one solution for fitting the kitchen), and was always happy to explain what he was doing. Also got complimented by the third party part P certifier, who was very happy with the job done!

I'm not sure what easy to fix solution exists for this problem, assuming you want to be able to use the switch still, and not rely just on apps? For the outside lights, I use a lightwaverf relay, and have covered the powered lightswitch with a lightwaverf wireless switch! Testing will be next...

confirmation of neutral to light switch (pic attached)

Hi, Been getting into home automation over last 12 months. Builder has overlooked something on the plans

The builder is apparently coming back tomorrow (having not answered his phone since last Thursday, as he has a slipped disc apparently), but is still adamant about not doing the extractor fan venting within the agreed cost. Assuming he finishes the other bits I'll probably get someone else to do...

Builder has overlooked something on the plans

Hi all, thanks for the various replies. His quote included electrics but was a bit vague (average sockets per room was common on the quote), and the builder even admitted earlier on he had to be tighter on number of sockets quoted etc. The only plumbing by him was in kitchen, and creating...

Builder has overlooked something on the plans

Hi, we are nearing 7 months into a 3 months build. Had a few problems with the builder - the delay above is mostly due to there was only one person on site at any time for example, and we have had several period of a couple of weeks where nothing has happened. No problems with quality of...

attaching pirate ship steering wheel to post so it can spin

thanks all. I added a self-locking nut and a nut with a small dome on the end so the end of the bolt was not showing. Added it to a post and screw to footboard of bed. Has worked a treat. Used a small length of hose pipe as the plastic tubing, and that seems to have worked. Our 3yr old walked...

attaching pirate ship steering wheel to post so it can spin

Spindle on wheel is about 15mm. Not sure whether we'll be attached to wall or bed. Probably a post attached to bed frame though. Maybe something a 30mmx30mm post? How's the 40mm plastic pipe prevent it spinning? Thanks for tips. I'll check out the coach bolt...

attaching pirate ship steering wheel to post so it can spin

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.. Whilst our builders are continuing with garage conversion/extension, we have moved our 3 year old son into his new room before they remove /extend the external wall of his old room. We have gone for a pirate theme in his new room, and to that end...
