Long story short.... Should I put a JB next to the consumer unit for an external lighting circuit, or can I have, 2 x 1.5mm T + E cables originating at the same MCB at the CU. 1 T+E for front door lights and 1 for back door lights. Any reason why I shouldn't terminate both cables at CU?

Cheers guys, like i say, i was doing all this a while ago now...the screw holes match up fine but the diameter of the batten protrudes some, yes unsightly and WILL niggle at me forever. My concern here is the fact that the guts of the batten would be slightly exposed, hence any moisture present...

cheers, what i'll do is study their website and get what i need from these guys. I'm placing an order for electrical goods elsewhere and if i can get these plates in white with the screw covers the difference will be negligible (aesthetic wise) I'll come back to you with my results. Thanks...
