First thing, i just noticed on the plans that the second kite should have been " adapted" to make it bigger (which would make the first kite more rectangular).
The BC rep has been. Simply laughed at the stairs and said "we get a lot of those"!!! They didn't say they would flag it I'll phone...
Had a 2 storey side extension. These are stairs where the wall breaks through. Are they acceptable? One thing which isn't obvious from the photos, they aren't level and they actually feel "weird" when you stand on them.

I got concerned cus my builder keeps his left over mortar in a wheel barrow submerged in water to stop it going off then uses it again the next day.
Builder put a wall up just over a month ago and I can fairly easily scrape the mortar out with my fingernail. After 10 scrapes i've taken 5m out...

In one upstairs room, I noticed a gap emerging between the top of the window and the ceiling. I figured I would replace since I'm getting condensation on the inside (not between the panes ,just on the inside of the window)...
I installed engineered wood flooring in the kitchen. Tongue n groove, not snap. Not all the way to the wall but just under the kickboards. I glued the pieces together with PVA and it sits on underlay. The laminate and underlay are not glued down.
Today, I noticed water coming through some of...
It's a shame cus the bricky who did it (I assume its the same guy who's been here for the last 2 weeks) did next door a lovely looking wall. Pointing was spot on.
