The picture below shows the side in view of the garage - the built up level would be approx 2.3m down the side and then across the rear. Overall length of the garage is approx 6.7m The garage is double skinned for a section in the middle, and each of the rear corners

Is there likely to be any issue with the weight of the built up soil against the single skin wall? From current ground level the should be about 70cm up the wall?

It's single skin. Plan is to build earth up about 50cm, which would make it approx 35cm above dpc

Thanks. It just swapped the screws around, and got one of the sockets on properly, so fingers crossed its he same issue on the other side too!

I've just been trying to replace a couple of sockets to finish off a newly decorated room. No issues with any of the wiring, but I'm struggling to get the faceplates back on tightly. In both sockets I'm getting the screws in so far, and then one side is just spinning and not going any further...

So this afternoon my wife managed to drop a glass bottle onto our new(ish) tiled floor, and has left a pretty obvious imprint on the tile that took the impact. Is there anything that can be done to repair / hide this damage, short of replacing it?
