    Clark drain manhole cover

Hello, I did some work to figure out why my cover was not allowing water to drain away yesterday. On lifting it up the rubber seal came away from the underside of the recessed tray. I tried to put it back in its grooves on the "seat" but it was too big. It is now obviously not making an...

    Getting a shock .....

sure! The guy who installed the kitchen came back and had a look. Could see no problem with the wiring, but told my partner he had re earthed the socket. A few days after he had done this, I am still getting the electric sensation. Eg the switch is turned on, so the flat of your finger...

    Getting a shock .....

Holy cow, what a muppet. I have check the wiring (with the power off) visualy only. I have no testers. There must be some form of leakage somewhere as I don't get a belt, just the strong sensation and tingling. Is this modification, a new socket from a spur, notifiable then? I...

    Pump vibration

It continues after the burner has gone out and the pump is circulating. i would say this is possibly the pump, or a blockage somewhere, but all rads heat up ok? What causes a rad to vibrate? The boiler makes a huge vibration on initial ignition for 5 secs, but I think this is a seperate...

Hi I have a vaillant eco tec pro which is about 2 years old now. There is quite a faint rumbling sound to be heard through the pipes. Also one of my rads upstairs is vibrating to the same frequency of the rumbling. (the rumbling is amplified in stud walls etc where pipe work runs) All...
