What tools needed for interior plaster?

I just bought a Marshalltown 14" x 4" trowel today at Home Depot, but I think it's for concrete and I'll have to bring it back. It's pretty stiff. It's hard to find plaster and plaster tools around here (Brooklyn, NY, USA.) There is not much plastering being done around here.

What tools needed for interior plaster?

What kind of trowels do I need for interior plaster? I have drywall taping tools but all of the big trowels are curved. They wouldn't work for plastering or skim coating, would they?
