Thanks for the reply, unfortunately due to the layout of the house anywhere else would mean a lot of work and probably a lot of money. I thought running the flu through the same run as the current one, once removed might be an option. I think it will probably be asbestos as it looks...

Hi All, I have some questions about our Johnson & Strarley Hi-Spec M31 The fan motor has become very noisy and we're getting pretty fed up with the way the system works overall really and the fact that two of the upstairs rooms (bedroom 3 and bathroom) and the kitchen are not directly heated...

Thanks All, the screed is already down unfortunately. We really wanted to get our flooring installed before the 20th of may. I guess we'll have to just keep the house nice and warm and take a punt>?

We having 50mm of screed put down in a new extension and we want to have wooden flooring fitted. The chippy has said the screed has to be totally dry or it will ruin the wood flooring (15mm solid parawood) How long should 50mm of screed take to dry? and is there any way to help the drying...

Asking the gardener to come back is not an option :( Is there any weed killer I can use yet? After digging them up of course. Thanks Tom

I have had new turf laid and its clear the person who has done it has a joker, they have left gaps of between 1-2cm at points. After just over a week there are weeds coming through the gaps. How can i get rid of them and prevent them from coming back? Many thanks -Tom

We are having a bit of out living room blocked of to create a store room but would love to be able to put the washing machine and tumble dryer in there. The issue we have is that to the nearest water and waste is in the downstairs loo but to get to it we need to go through under the stairs...
