Insulating external wall using... wait for it...

Anyone have hands on experience with Wallrock Thermal Liner? £50 a roll 10m x 0.75m It's pop to hang. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T9Q072gox7I I'm not convinced, might aswell carpet the wall.

Insulating external wall using... wait for it...

In the back of my mind was the thought that for it to be of any use it might need to have air or a cavity behind it. I figure if I vent behind the cavity, that should remove any chance of condensation build up. If they can place that foam stuff on a wall then I think that there...

That's something I have no knowledge about, sorry. It's in a stairwell which is always very cold, especialy now winter is here. I will be using a water resistant adhesive, no idea which one at the moment. And then sealing it with the same, then hanging the lining paper over the...

With a decent adhesive, and lining paper over the top. I cannot see it rotting away. Sandwiched between adhesive it has no where to go. All it has to do is reflect the heat back.

Aluminized mylar space blankets. Mylar sheet installed internally with an aluminized coating on the side facing you. Possibly 1200 grade lining paper first(or god forbid polystyrene) and finished with 1200 paper. (Really do not fancy any polystyrene. Too easily damaged.) Anyone ever tried...

Read through the manual downloaded from Biasi, found the reset switch from where it overheats. Pressed and bingo! FIXED ! :) cheers for all your help.

Biasi 24S DV - Diaphragm replaced still not igniting.

After taking it apart, I see the spindle that runs through to the opposite end to push the micro switch - is only moving about 1/4 inch. It will not move any further so it's about an 1/8 inch away from hitting the switch. After seeing the condition of the old diaphragm, I am pondering the...

After looking at the biasi blown diagram for that valve, the diaphragm is installed the correct way round.

That pin is not making the switch. Has not fired up since changed the part, just makes a buzzing sound for a while which quietens after a minute or so. Pump running as can hear the water moving in the radiators. C/H was not working, H/W either. Was left for quite a while with...

Maybe this will help, as I don't know the actual names of the parts.

He fitted the new rubber diaphragm so it was snug , parallel to the left side. This could be the problem then. I will drain down and strip that part off again. Waiting for confirmation before I reverse it. (No heating or h/water. Pump running) Cheers guys, really appreciate you...

None of those things have been checked. I am there now, and unfortunately neither of us know much about boilers, so not sure where the switch and fan are that you mention. Pump is running. I see one pin pushing into the switch that is nearest the left. The other switch/pin is hidden by the...
