    Before contacting LBAC check the indemnity policy terms and conditions. In some cases the policy is null and void if you make an approach to LBAC, and they subsequently require changes etc. Or even better get your solicitor to advise you. HTH

    Spent the afternoon installing a concealed cistern and btw pan. Cistern ... no problem BTW pan ... wee bit of a problem: Flush pipe entry point - the rubber collar which pushes into the spigot is quite tight, its not dripping but it is still a little wet round the bottom of the pipe...

    nte5 and broadband

    When you get broadband the wiring of your BT master socket does not change. If you want to run extensions, then simply wire a normal telephone extension and put a microfilter on the extension socket(s) that you have a PC connected to. HTH

    Spent the afternoon wiring up the spur rcd.. switch etc... It works a treat.... I press the test button on the rcd and the lights and fan cut out.     Will do ... although the halogens and the fan are not earthed ... so I will make sure the rcd unit and the double pole are earthed back to the junction box with the incoming and outgoing. Is this right? CHeers

    Fitting a towel radiator

    Thanks forthe warning .... The pipes come out of the wall approx. 30mm bend 90degrees upwards (length of pipe 60mm which meets the vlave and connects to the radiator... this should be standard set up? Cheers

    Thanks mate. I remember as a kid my father taking radiators out when he wanted to decorate behind them .... and I still remember the hassle ... so I am not expecting it to go smoothly!!
