Thats great information, I don't need to worry about the hot water as its a Combi therefore I don't have a hot water tank. So will the EP6002 end up being completely redundant in my case, ie not needed for hot water? Thanks for the information so far.

Hi Guys, Currently have a Halstead Ace which has a Potterton EP6002 Electronic Programmer attached to it, can I replace this with a Honeywell CM927 and if so is it a relatively simple job, I hoping the answer is Yes and Yes but I'll wait and see. Thanks TrioPowell

OK, that being the case there is no header tank in the loft, the only thing I have is the boiler in the garage. Cheers Tristan

Thanks for the replies, I've been blessed with a Halstead Ace High !!! Which from what I can work out from the label under the front cover has a max output of 30kw. The boiler is located in the garage.
