Chris, do you know the normal procedure/sequence of linking the boiler and stat? Is it a case of turning boiler off at electric fuse point for 3 minutes and taking batteries out of stat and then turning boiler back on and putting batteries back in etc?

Thanks for your help! Would it be an idea to get a new stat and reciever etc and if so what would you suggest for a Valliant Ecotech Pro 28......I would like something that i can manually set, i.e not have preset times but just control myself by upping / lowering the temp.
