    Re-routing drains

I agree, its a lot of aggro to move the stack, when boxing it in is so much easier, cheaper, and shorter on time. However if i was to take this route, id fill the studwork with plenty of rockwool to dampen down any sounds, maybe double up on the boards too, theyre cheap enough.

Is Plumbing a Trade (Part 2)

I still find using a spot of heat to be a fast and efficent way of removing a really stobborn rad tail, as i said i put heat the up the tail, not on the outside and have never burnt a rad yet. Sometimes the length of a tail is quite short as the olive and nut reduce the space for grips, which...

Is Plumbing a Trade (Part 2)

Of course its still trade soggy. . . probably one of the most varied and interesting ones out there, but as with any job theres always diy'ers turning pro and calling themselves handymen! As for the rad tail, id normally send a bit of heat up it for 10secs, works for me, and before anyone...

Remember PitchFibre pipes? How do I connect my toilet to one

If you cut the collar off the pitch pipe at floor level would a standard sized pan connector fit? Having said that, even if it did, the toilet is still going to look miles away from the wall.

My first van was a P100 cortina shaped pick up, i loved it, but it hated me and siezed amongst a blue cloud of smoke on a dual carriageway, i then had a spate of rattly escort vans mk3 were better than mk4 in my opinion, had some transits too. But after i borrowed a mates sprinter i havent drove...

    Plasterers Trowel advice

I like marshaltown trowels, but only use the mild steel ones, cos of the way they bend and sound when you have a good scrape lol. Oh and ive also noticed over the years that they rust like buggery therefore nobody wants to steal them.(A good run on sand and c normally sorts that out though)...
