Forgive me if the answer is already on this forum somewhere - I searched but couldn't find answers to my questions.
Our garden is quite big (1.3 acres) so to save having to keep dragging the hose around, I want to install a few outside taps in different parts of the garden. These will be...
Excellent, thank you.
I was thinking of using a smaller earth block to connect on another length of cable. I wasn't sure whether the supplier's earth had to be one continuous unbroken cable to the main earthing point.
I've tried searching but haven't found a definitive answer.
We have a separate earth connector coming in from the supply and going into an earth block from where all other earths are taken. The supply cables come in through the wall to the left of the CU:
As our supply comes in via overhead...
For some reason notifications for updates on this thread stopped being emailed to me so I didn't realise that people were replying. Sorry, I would have replied sooner if I'd realised.

I'm not an electrician by trade but I would personally feel more comfortable using 6mm2 cable for this. Better to reasonably over-engineer than under-engineer in my (admittedly non-expert) view.
Is it possible get products like this, but with an insert that allows for two 2.5mm T+E cables?

We have 16 circuits. I want to install a Wylex NMX 16 way main switch CU (I already have all of the...
I ended up fitting a Leengate 1.5 inch valve, as that had an internal bore of just over 30mm so shouldn't present too much of a flow restriction.
Ignore the randomly positioned microbore (that's there ready for something else and will be tidied at that time).
The hot water from the Aga comes...
