Worcester 240 defaults to Twice after power cut?

I meant to say that this is a small system in a flat and there is no central stat just radiator stats with the obligatory one rad (in the bathroom) without a stat. I might have to fit a central stat to control this situation and/or as well as setting the TWICE times to be about five minutes...

Worcester 240 defaults to Twice after power cut?

Hi I have my 240 heating set to Off in the Summer. Today we had a power cut and I suddenly realised the house was getting warm. Looking at the boiler, it had switched back on and defaulted to Twice. Thinking this might be because the clock needed setting, I corrected this and selected Off. I...

Leaking condensate pipe: Worcester Greenstar 24i Junior

There is a drip coming from a plastic elbow joint on what I believe is the condensate pipe on a Greenstar 24i Junior combi. This is the plastic pipe on the far left of the boiler looking on to it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/90512667@N03/10610648995/ This was serviced a week ago, so I...

Fixing a room stat to an old Honeywell controller?

I have one of the old Honeywell heat and water controllers that has the two slide controls and the on/once/twice/off options with digital display. We have individual stats on the rads. Is it simple to connect a central stat to this unit as I want one downstairs to turn on and off manually...

    Worcester DT10 RF Thermostat query

Thanks everyone. It was a DT10 transmitter/receiver pair on the Worcester but has been replaced with an MT10 so that it can be manually turned on or off by the people who rent the shop. I have also set a three hour night period on the timer which they know how to use if a very cold night is...

    Worcester DT10 RF Thermostat query

The unit we have on the boiler, in place of the MT10, has full central heating control and programming and 10 pages of documentation on how to program it. When I spoke to Worcester they said the transmitting room units were fitted when the boilers were installed in awkward places and it was...

    Worcester DT10 RF Thermostat query

Answering my own question, I think! Apparently holding the "OK" button on the boiler unit for 5 seconds takes control from the room stat. Vigman

    Worcester DT10 RF Thermostat query

Hi We let a shop that has a Worcester Greenstar Junior 24i boiler. The boiler has a digital transmitter fitted which is fully programmable and has the option to Select On and Off. However, there is a Worcester DT10 RF Thermostat fitted out in the main shop area. Basically the users...

An unusual timer problem Worcester Greenstar Jr 24i

Thanks. I have now also found out that the MT10 dip switches simply hit a lever one way or another for on and off and if this lever is stiff it will not be operated by the MT10! There are only room stats in this unit, so I think a good idea might be to fit a room stat and bypass the MT10...

An unusual timer problem Worcester Greenstar Jr 24i

Hi Newbie to the forum, but not DIY having completely renovated period properties over the last 35 years. The problem is that on a Worcester Greenstar Jr 24i boiler the MT10 doesn't turn off...WAIT...I have read the threads.....even with a new timer fitted! Even with a second brand new...
