273cm tall including step / sill
We found a potential double glazed replacement on facebook marketplace but it is a little smaller.
239cm wide
237cm tall
So...
6cm narrower
30cm shorter or
36cm...
Why does my kitchen waste keep blocking?
It frees up with a quick plunge but I find I need to do at least once a week.
If your wondering, it is propped on some wood blocks as it came loose and was leaking a while back.
How do I wire this to a socket?
Electrician installed a new point but wire is a loop.
Said he would come back to put the socket on but I want to do it now.
I’m confident with wiring plugs, switches etc, just not seen a loop like this and need some confirmation what to do.

I tried drilling / chipping out the surrounding mortar but these things are in deep and have a bend that 'hooks' in.
I am thinking the easiest cut would be where I have sketched the red lines.
So the plan is to use an angle grinder with a thin metal cutting disc and eye protection...
I am building a small office and can't decide which way the door should swing for a small office.
Option 1 - Door swings out onto landing - right handed handle
Option 2 - Door swings in into office - left handed handle
So it is ok if my frame basically clamps to the ceiling joist via the ceiling plaster and laths?
