Why does my kitchen waste keep blocking? It frees up with a quick plunge but I find I need to do at least once a week. If your wondering, it is propped on some wood blocks as it came loose and was leaking a while back.

How do I wire this to a socket? Electrician installed a new point but wire is a loop. Said he would come back to put the socket on but I want to do it now. I’m confident with wiring plugs, switches etc, just not seen a loop like this and need some confirmation what to do. Thanks
