Hi sorry crazy week. I’ve been up to take some pics. My neighbour also had a new roof fitted a few weeks back, so not sure if that’s caused an issue on not?! Is this normal for the new felt from next door to be on my roof? the tiles now feel loose.

I have rain water dripping through my upstairs bathroom ceiling, above the window. I’ve been into my loft space and can’t see any water dripping anywhere, my gutters have also been cleaned out so it isn’t that?? It’s only happened since we had high winds, I’m wondering if a roof tile has moved...

Hi everyone, just installed a new kitchen, all with warm white led lights. Except the cooker hood which is daylight white, (discription said warm white) I’ve been in contact with the company where I purchased it for spare parts and they can’t help I’ve also been on the hunt to replace the lights...

The windows will be installed into an existing extension off the kitchen. I’m just outside of London if that’s any help. My highest quote is coming in at nearly 6k surly not!!!

Do you know what sort of price I would be looking at for installation?. I can’t do the job myself. So I’ve contacted a few roofers. Iv had 4quotes back. All completely different. I have no idea where I go from here haha

Hi all, I’m looking at installing a couple of velux windows into a low pitch roof (11.5 deg) I have centuriun roof tiles. Anyone no if it’s going to be a problem? I’ve been reading up on it but thought I’d ask to see what others have done. Thanks.

Yes, but the square heads hold the gearbox to the strip. If I can get the square head out I can then take the rest apart. It’s literally just the one screw that causing the problem

yes using the right bit. There’s 3 square head screws on the central gear box. Top and bottom both out, middle one is the problem, it’s just not moving. I don’t want to keep going at it and messing the head up. Arghhh what a pain.

Heyy all, been trying to remove a screw from my French doors to change the gear box. There’s one screw that will not move. Any suggestions on how to get it loose? It’s starting to look a little worse for wear. Its a square-head screw.

Hi all, what’s best to fill reappearing cracks? We had a new extension roof put , cracks appeared in the corner of our kitchen ceiling . Tried filling and it’s opened again. What can I use please? Thanks

no stack outside. It’s all internal. I’ve had to release the gas that’s built up (my god it’s gross) untill I pick up the new AAV tomorrow. Ive got the connector so hoping it will all fit. This has got to be the worst thing I’ve done since fixing the house up! @Mr Chibs thanks for your help.

How horrifying. I’ll go check on my neighbours later to make sure they are still alive!! I’ll fit a new AAV and hope that’s the stench sorted.
