If an outside wall on a bungalow has been opened up to create an alcove on the inside of approx 2 x 0.75 Meters and has had new foundations poured on for this relatively tiny "extension" would this be classified as underpinning or not? Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Ok, I'm almost ready to start laying the slate tiles so is it best to open all the packs first & go through them & try and group them in same thickness, then wipe them all down ( they all seem a bit dirty ) then seal them, then lay them, seal again , grout, do they then need sealing again after...

Hi I'm new on here & it looks like a very useful forum that I will use regularly :) Can anyone reccomend an adhesive for tiling over very sound flat ceramics with black natural slate tiles? (it's a concrete floor underneath) any help is much appreciated.
