There is low gas pressure on the grill side, (not enough heat to toast cheese), ive had it all apart to see if there is a blockage, even lit gas at the burner. Oven side is great , no problems, any ideas please on why the pressure is low .

What i dont understand is that the bioler is only 7 years old , and the heating system was furnox protected, how can it happen? i thought boilers lasted yrs

its an ariston micro genius 23 mfi , ive only recently had the diverter valve replaced , that was leaking. now this. :(

Can these be repaired ? Or can i buy a recond. part, mine has gone and im looking at £130 plus vat. its the main exchanger , had water dripping down from the holes where the the igniters are, so im presuming its the exchanger.

Its not the silver pipe ,its the brass tap on the jig, that lets the mains into the boler.im after.

i dont think the guts was repaced , the box for the part was left , yet no old one left.,were qouted 150 quid originally. but when the plumber came, he said that he needed help as he could not get it out by himself.wife says he had a mirror and used a torch to bounce light of mirror? personally...

valve was leaking , had it replaced, i was not here my wife was £280 was what we were charged for,no reciept taken , no old part left, pretty annoyed myself, plumber told wife he could not get at d/v and needed help.

£280 including part. thought so i was ripped off.

How easy is it to replace the diverter valve on an ariston micro genus? would 2 plumbers and 3 hours be enough. thats what happened in my case.

About 6 yrs old, the boiler is dropping pressure daily , when the heating is on , hotwater runs hot and cold, if just hot water runs the lockout light will come on often.,i have been pointed to the diverter valve, could this be the problem.
