The external pipework is all mdpe. It's on a shared main. I wonderd if the problem could be coming from up or downstream.

I have water hammer, turning off my stop tap doesn't stop it. But turning off my external one does. This suggests the problem is with the external stop tap?

Is that a better valve, then cable operated ones?

If I were to fit a fluidmaster one that has a 1.5inch cradle and an adapter washer for 2 inch holes. Would I notice a reduced flush volume?

I need to replace the fill valve on this, I was going to do the flush valve too. Can anyone recommend a good flush valve that will fit. The one that's in looks like a 2inch outlet. Thanks

Yes I can take the head off again. But can only reattach in certain places due to the splines. Like on place too far one, not enough

As anyone swapped an on/off Cartridge on a concealed shower and then when turning the knob full off it goes past the vertical position. On the picture the valve is off I.e no water coming out of the shower. But the top knob will move another 5-10 degrees to fully off/stop position. I can't take...

I know I need to reseal the bottom. If I did have to re groute. I would need to leave this 24 hours before silioning at the base of the tray.
