I gave in and ordered a Bosch one at £58 from axminster tools as I could not get a definate answer from the shop I phoned about the rigid one, A bit expensive for a length of bendy wire, but at least I know it will fit and not cause me any issues, hope they send me the right one though. Thanks

Some are very misleading the way they are written.. I did not think it would be such a pain to buy an extension for this. Think I should of bought the Rigid scope as bits for these are easy to get..

Thats why Bosch (blue) have had about £1200 of my money in the last 2 years 8) Quality matters to me Back to the OP I am really impressed by my Bosch 18v impact driver, but may be best to go to a tool shop and have a look at what is available and which you prefer,

Was not trying to make out that bosch Blue was the be all and end all of tools but they are very good and very reliable for the price, they are not in same league as Hilti or say Festool , I was referring to similar priced tools such as Makita, Dewalt,Durofix etc that come with 1 yr warranty...

something to consider before you part with your money is that Bosch give you a 3 yr warranty and if it goes wrong they even pick it up for you and deliver it back when they have fixed it. I like the security of knowing that I dont have a headache coming if the tool fails. GDR 18V Battery...

Another vote for bosch, I just bought the 18v Li impact driver and its so powerfull not the lightest though ,will have to try it with 1.3 ah batts. Screwfix got a trade in at the mo,, you take in any power tool and get £50 off the impact driver so for £185 with batts case and charger its a good...

A power sander is a must , but get a good one or two , I have had a few sanders but the latest is a Bosch blue 1/3 sheet GSS23A about £70 but its worth every penny as its quiet , very low vibration and it sucks up the dust as it goes in its own little cannister and as above a delta sander is...

Same Bosch PH20 i think it is , the dust coming either out the side you choose is a must. only downside did not come with a side guide, really cant fault it ,

Just got back and it is the Hitatchi C8FSE slide one and the spare blade is a 24 tooth (better than nothing) and it cost me £170 (the offer is on till Monday) I got to say it does feel very well built and it is quite light 18kg. :lol:

was in B&Q yesterday and it was the hitatchi 216mm sliding saw it was reduced from £270 to£199 and today they doin 15% off as well, I also checked the website and it is listed as £270. I am goin back up to B&Q later today so will be having another look at it.
