Hi guys hopefuly you will understand what im getting at and that someone can give me some ideas!
We have a problem with our heating system, when our CH is switched off by the thermostat and the programmer the radiators still get burning hot! these problem i have put down to the hot water being on, because it never happens when the hot water is turned off! Read a few topics on here saying it could be some sort of gravity valve? but could it be something else? IE the thermostat not working proberly?
I will try and describe the way our system is set up
Downstairs in kitchen we have a potterton netaheat electronic 10-16 boiler
upstairs in our airing cupboard we have the water cylinder, with the potterton EP2000 programmer next to the cylinder thereis a grundfos ups 15-50 pump that has just been replaced, on the cylinder there is a thermostat guessing for the hot water, it was origanally on 60c but have turnt that down to 40c due to our problem, last month we have spent nearly £170 on our gas! Hope someone will be able to help me out or give me some ideas what to do!
