You are entirely wrong about the panels.
E.on take all the feed-in tariff benefits and all you get ( as far as I have read ) is your electricity consumption during generation periods i.e. daytime. Since relatively few people are at home during the day, the benefits to the householder are likely to be very small and certainly out-weighed by problems if you wish to move in 25 year contact.
