which type of paint for a kitchen ?

i am js having my kitchen/diner plasterboarded out entirely and skimmed...from which i will paint it magnolia,can you guys tell me which type of paint i should go for in that enviroment....i have had 3 bedrooms re-skimmed and just used b & q crown matt magnolia which has given satisfactory results...could i use this ? cheers again..

Id rub it all down with 120 grit paper on large block, use a cheap white emulsion wash coat about 60/40 with water. Then two coats of a good emulsion. If its high traffic id use Dulux Endurance Matt as it will mark up easily. If your on a budget Gliddens Matt Magnolia is about £15 for 10 litres from Dulux Decorating Centre on Kirkstall Rd. (Im in Leeds too.)
 
The wall behind the cooking area, cooker etc should be done in either Endurance or Kitchen Matt to prevent it staining and allowing it to be wiped with a cloth.
 
cheers rusty..i will have a trip to the decorating centre and buy the kitchen matt in magnloia cheers again :)

where can i get this endurance matt dulux centre ? + what about magnolia supermatt £30 b &q 10l tub says suitable for new plaster that is still drying out ? what expect it to be good quality for that price..how much would the equivalent be in endurance matt magnolia cheers again :)
