I would like to remove light stretches from a window and i am wondering what buffing medium you would recommend for that job. I have a got DeWALT D26410 Random Orbit sander that used 150mm discs i am wondering whether there are glass buffing or polishing discs are available that i can use with it? Many thanks in advance for your help

If you can feel the scratches with your finger nail then I am afraid you are never going to remove them, they will leave a ' scar ' .. If they are very light you may be able to remove them using ' jewellers rouge ' , but the results can be a little hit and miss. There are specialised attachements for drills , but you will still require something similiar to jewellers rouge powder and a lot of water or you could very well make it worse

Mirka sell glass polishing gear.

However, as said above, if you can catch your nail on it, dont bother.

I bought a £500 mirka set to remove scratches on 10 large dg units. After spending nearly 4 hours trying to get out the first scratch, I gave up

Try 1200 grade wet and dry. There are glass polishing systems systems for windscreens avaialable.
