Is it true WB & NEST issues?

Im hearing that Worcester Bosch boilers & other makes used with a NEST aren't open-therm compatable so dont meet the boiler plus requirements just because its a SMART control. Are some manufacturers forcing you to use their own offerings?

Nest is open therm compatible, it requires the boiler to be an open therm boiler though and not all boilers are.

All boilers have to be 92% space heating efficiency, some are not, smart stat needs to offer optimization and automation, nest does even if not used as an OpenTherm control
