Anyone know how to do a drain? Is it as simple as drilling out a hole in the back wall with some guttering and lead over the bottom?
Which one is the back wall- the parapet? Whichever it is, you either need to form a proper drip edge from the grp deck to your guttering (tricky if you can't get under the deck) or probably the easier way is to form a GRP channel through the wall, then drip edge into your gutter/hopper head. Unless you get the clowns back to get rid of that 45 degree bodge then you'll have to work with it. The GRP channel needs to be properly bonded to the deck/upstands (angle grinder and wire brush to grind off the topcoat and etch the fibreglass, acetone wash to liven up the resin then mat and resin onto a substrate- easiest would be a pair of GRP angles bonded together to form a channel then topcoat everything). The resin doesn't bond properly to many plastics, matting angles isn't recommended (otherwise you could just use some bits of OSB).

Just to cheer you up, you can expect problems down the line from those 45 degree upstands (at some stage in the next few years the join between the deck and the upstand will probably start to leak).

Did the original fitters advertise any particular roof system? (Polyroof is one, there are others) If they did then you might want to get in touch with the system suppliers with some pics . You also might want to think about getting rid of the 45 degree bodge and installing the proper trims- it'll be fairly easy unless they cut the OSB really short

Also, did they use T & G OSB or just square edged sheets? You can use square sheets but you have to support all the joins otherwise you get movement between the boards which will fracture the GRP (it is quite brittle).

Roof system? you mean like "Cure It". They've said it's fine other than the cement, cureit say you should use a GRP cureit flashing system.

The original roofer is coming back and adding flashings. If it lasts 5-10years I'll be happy. At which point, if it's flat I will do 3 layer felt system over the top and re-do the flashings if needed myself.

That'll give me sometime to consider something like flashing to the neighbours wall or an upstand on that side to funnel the water to a drain. Or some other option like this one: https://www.roofingsuperstore.co.uk...MIktm81PvA2gIVhrTtCh1TTg3pEAQYBSABEgJn9PD_BwE instead of guttering

They only use that sort of stuff on new builds,
Which only needs to last till the warranty has ran out!

Original roofer has been back and has capped the front and back parapets with felt and 'acrypol' ed (or similar) the sh*t out of the place. Also provided a 10 year warranty on his work. Pictures to follow
