Hi everyone,
I was wondering if someone could give me advise on this issue.
I brought a 3.6kw Combination oven from ebay, used. It had a plug on it so I just plugged it straight into the socket behind the unit and it powered up fine. After a while I read through the manual and it states it must be hard wired. Its a bit of hassle doing this, but I have noticed that from day one, the oven wasnt heating up properly . I got an oven thermometer and it dispalyed 160 degrees C, when the oven was set on 210 degrees. I can see all heating elements working fine, but its no reaching full heat. Additionally the 1000 watt microwave fucntion seems weak and very similar to the old 800 watt micowave it has replaced. I am now wondering if the reason I am having these issues is because its plugged and not hard-wired?
Any thoughts are welcomed please. Also I did consider it was the oven thermostat that could be faulty, but this still doesnt explain the microwave oven s power being weak.
Many thanks!
