@NicolaSturgeon confirms the UK Government’s Brexit document, outlining potential chaos of a No-Deal Brexit, had the title “Base Scenario” when it was sent to @scotgov.
How many times boyo you want to be proven wrong defending this shambolic Government.
As i said, context and intended audience are hugely significant. if you create the document to identify the potential problems you intend to mitigate, you may well call it the base scenario. When its then released to all and sundry the title suddenly changes meaning.
This is exactly why government should be allowed to generate documents that remain confidential.
Seriously. I generally find their articles factual, informative, well written and lack the hysteria and extreme sensationalism of a lot of news providers. I find its normally reasonably well balanced and not afraid to criticise the government although i accept there is a pro conservative bias.

The Telegraph is the SUN in a pin striped suit.

The coverage of HSBC in Britain's Telegraph is a fraud on its readers. If major newspapers allow corporations to influence their content for fear of losing advertising revenue, democracy itself is in peril.
Yesterdays Telegraph front page was illuminating in its lack of coverage of what has transpired for Bojo.
I read the paper version of the Telgraph 2 to 3 times a week.
Its news sections, editorials and letters page are entirely 100% pro Brexit and pro Tory.
If you are being fed a diet of Brexit from the Telegraph you will not have a balanced view.
The business wection is more balanced because it is factual rather than political.
To get a balanced view the telegraph should be read alongside the FT, new European, independant or Guardian.
